Terms of business

Orders are accepted via post, telephone fax or e-mail.

These terms and conditions are deemed to be accepted by our customers once the Sales Order has been signed and dated or on receipt of Sales Order by telephone, post, email etc.

Prices and Product detail:

Purple Daisy Jewellery reserves the right to change the prices and or specifications without prior notice except where an order is received against a firm quotation within the period of validity of the quotation. All sizes, dimensions and colours are approximate.

Carriage:

Carriage and packing charges are £5.00 (UK) per order for orders under £150. For orders above this in the UK carriage charges are waived. Orders below £50.00 will be subject to administration and delivery costs of £20.00. Carriage and packing charges for Europe are £15.00 per order over £150.00 Orders below £50.00 will be subject to administration and delivery costs of £20.00. Delivery costs for orders outside Europe are £35.00 per order over £150.00 Orders below £50.00 will be subject to administration and delivery costs of £20.00. All rates apply to standard delivery only, express delivery is available at extra cost. Delivery is FOB, all import duties and local tax charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

Delivery:

Subject to production and availability we endeavour to supply goods within the delivery time stated. Every effort is made to send complete orders, however we reserve the right to make part deliveries due to external factors beyond our control. Items that cannot be despatched for immediate delivery will become balance orders to be despatched at a later date. Items that are in stock will be despatched immediately. Any non delivery will be rectified by a further delivery or a refund.

Damaged or defective goods:

If on delivery, goods are found to be defective then we must be notified in writing within ten days of delivery otherwise no liability will be accepted. In the event that we require return of the goods then we reserve the right to specify the method of return. We will either replace the goods or issue a refund.

Retention of title and risk:

All goods supplied remain our sole and absolute property both in law and in equity until you have paid the full invoiced price (including carriage charged where applicable.) Risk passes to you at the time of delivery.

Copyright:

Products are based on our own intellectual property rights and we retain absolute copyright of these, actionable in law for any breaches thereof. Be informed that all designs have been design deposited upon conception in accordance with the giftware associations “copywatch” scheme.

Payment terms:

All new accounts/initial orders will be by Pro Forma Invoice. Payments by credit card will incur a 5% charge, no charge will be made for debit card payments. Please be aware that The Company is currently Zero rated for VAT.

Credit accounts can be established at our discretion and against two trade and or bankers references. Settlement is strictly thirty days from date of our invoice. Where settlement has not been received within our credit terms, we reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 5% per calendar month or part thereof and future orders will only be accepted against Pro Forma invoice.

Variations of these Terms and Conditions:

Any variations to these terms will only be recognised where we have provided written agreement.

Governing Law:

The Terms and Conditions and every contract made pursuant hereto and in the event of a dispute arising shall be governed in all respects by and in accordance with prevailing English Law.

Disclaimer:

The company cannot be held responsible and or liable for any resultant accident arising out of the inappropriate use of the companies jewellery products moreover these products are not suitable for the use of small children.
